Make sense of an unclear health situation
A structured way to regain the overview: what's known, unknown and assumed, which next steps are plausible, and how to weigh them with your doctors. Not a diagnosis. Clarity about what to do next.

More opinions, less clarity
This page is for the search for an explanation. If the diagnosis is clear and the question is which treatment path to take, see Treat or manage a medical condition?.
- You've seen multiple doctors but still don't have a clear explanation.
- Test results contradict each other or point nowhere conclusive.
- You feel stuck between medical opinions, lifestyle advice and your own uncertainty.
- The process itself, not just the symptoms, has become draining.
- You want to act rationally without overreacting, but don't know where to focus.
Four stages. One decision you can explain a year from now.
The same method serious organisations use for decisions worth millions, applied to yours. Structured conversations, work between sessions on both sides, and a written result you keep.
A written Decision Dossier: your criteria and values hierarchy, a trade-off table of your options, your rationale, and a 30/60/90-day action plan.
Typically one to three 90-minute working sessions, online, plus work in between on both sides. You buy the result, not hours. A check-in within 30 days is included.
Everything stays between us. No third parties, no exceptions unless you ask or the law requires it.
Data isn't a picture
Because each result answers one question and raises two, and each specialist sees one part. Without a structure that holds what's known, what's assumed and what's untested, the process itself becomes the burden. Decision analysis brings that structure: hypotheses named, next steps compared on the same terms, your doctors kept in the loop. The medicine stays with them. The overview stays with you.
An advisor, not a coach
PhD, Global Executive MBA. I have advised organisations and leaders on high-stakes choices for over a dozen years and now bring the same methods to individuals at career and life crossroads. Structure, proven methods, and empathy. No hidden agenda, no upsell.
Questions people ask
Can you help with a medical decision?
With the decision, yes. Many clients face a choice their doctors have laid out but cannot make for them: treat or manage, keep investigating or wait, which specialist to see next. We separate what is known from what is assumed, name what a good outcome means for you, and compare the paths on the same terms. Your doctors stay in the loop and the medical judgement stays with them.
Are you a medical doctor?
No. My doctorate is in biology, with a specialisation in neurophysiology, so the title is a PhD rather than a medical degree. I make no diagnoses and give no treatment recommendations. What I bring to a health question is method, not medicine.
Is this coaching or therapy?
Neither. Therapy works on how you feel and where that comes from. Coaching works on habits, performance and goals. Here we work the problem itself: the facts, the options, what you value, the risks, and what each path would ask of you. The methods come from strategy, governance, risk management and decision analysis. If what you need is treatment or support with your mental health, that is another profession, and I say so.
What if a different sprint turns out to fit better?
We check your entry point at the start, and if it is the wrong one, I say so and what you have paid moves to the sprint that fits. Nothing is added to a scope without your agreement.
Talk it through before you decide anything
30 minutes, online. We look at your situation, I tell you honestly whether structured advisory would help, and you decide. No preparation needed.
